2025 KTM 390 Adventure Lineup: Things To Know!
Unlike last time, the new 390 Adventure will be available in three guises; the 390 Adventure X, which will be a road-biased tourer. Then there is the 390 Adventure R; a more hardcore off-roader, and a 390 Enduro R is also expected to join the lineup.
Both bikes will share the same trellis frame, along with the engine; the 390 Duke's 399cc, liquid-cooled mill, but in a slightly altered state of tune and possibly with a different sprocket setup.
KTM 390 Adventure R
Let's get to the 390 Adventure R, which will be the more hardcore, committed bike in the lineup. The 390 Adventure R will come with a 21-inch front and an 18-inch rear spoke-rim setup. It will also make use of adjustable WP Apex suspension on both ends with 230mm of travel. More details on the hardware are expected to follow in the coming few days.
The 390 Adventure R will also come with an H50 rally-style TFT screen mounted higher-up, to mimic the feel of an actual rally motorcycle. Cornering ABS and traction control will also come as standard. With a seat height of 885mm, the Adventure R is going to be challenging for most riders. However, let's wait for a full review for details on that front.
KTM 390 Adventure X
The 390 Adventure X is going to be the road-biased motorcycle in the lineup. It will share the same trellis frame and some bodywork with the 390 Adventure R. However, the Adventure X will come with a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear wheel setup with cast-alloy rims.
The Adventure X will also make use of WP Apex suspension on both ends, but with 200mm of travel.. The X will also come equipped with an LCD screen, and with a seat height of 825mm, it will be accessible to most riders. It will also get dual-channel ABS, but cornering ABS is likely to be given a miss here.

KTM 390 Enduro R
The enduro version of the new 390 Adventure is also expected to be unveiled at the India Bike Week. The 390 Enduro R will likely be built on the same frame, but with a different swingarm. It will also come with a 21-inch and an 18-inch rear wheel setup with spoke rims. Other highlights include a long-travel suspension, and a flat motocross-style seat.
The 390 Enduro R has also been spotted testing multiple times, and the Austrian bikemaker may choose to surprise us by launching it here.
Verdict
The KTM 390 Adventure has been long overdue for an upgrade, and with the upcoming India Bike Week, we may finally get our hands on it sooner. Given how KTM usually prices its bikes, we can expect the new 390 Adventure to come with a price hike that is not very substantial.
