Triumph Speed T4
The Speed T4 is the newest addition to the Speed 400 lineup, and it is a toned-down version as it produces slightly less power and costs almost Rs 23,000 less. The company states that the T4 starts at Rs 2.17 lakh and features an all-new TR Series 398 cc engine, which offers improved low-end torque performance. In terms of specifications, it delivers 30.6 PS and 36 Nm of torque. Triumph also claims that this motorcycle has 10 percent better fuel efficiency than the Speed 400.
Talking more about the engine, peak torque is achieved at 5,000 RPM, with almost 85 percent available at 2,500 RPM, according to the automaker. Additionally, the top speed of the T4 is 135 km/h, which is about 10 km/h lower than the Speed 400. The exhaust has a heavy bass, thanks to the modified airbox and throttle body, which create that thumpy sound every time you push it hard.
In essence, this motorcycle will be better suited for people who want to use their Triumph in city traffic, navigating through tight roads swiftly and with confidence.
