Greaves Electric Mobility has launched another affordable electric scooter called Ampere Reo 80, at an introductory price of Rs 59,900. The special thing about this e-scooter, apart from its range and technology, is that no license and no registration is required to own it. So, basically, this one too is catered towards teenagers and is a direct rival to the Zelio E Little Gracy. Also, designed for the mass market and aligned with Ampere's vision of 'Har Gully Electric', this is the fifth scooter in the brand's lineup. More information below. Ampere Reo 80

The new Reo 80 is Ampere's upgraded version of its flagship scooter Reo, an e-2W, low-speed e-scooter designed for sub-25 kmph speed. This statement by the brand reflects that this scooter is catered towards school-going teenagers, as the speed is limited to 25 km/h only, plus there is no need for registration and license to take control of it. Moreover, the range is 80 km on a single charge, and it includes features like a coloured LCD screen, keyless start with premium fob, alloy wheels, and 4 colour options to choose from - Black, Red, Blue, and White.
As per press release the asking price of Rs 59,900 is introductory, so in future it will change, and deliveries of the new Ampere Reo 80 will begin across India starting April 2025.
