Bajaj Auto Limited has launched yet another Pulsar model for the Indian market. The brand has launched the new Pulsar N125 at Rs 94,707 to Rs 98,707 (ex-showroom). Bajaj Pulsar N125 - Design & Features

Bajaj Pulsar N125

The new N125 boasts an all-new design which we haven't seen on any Pulsar model. it gets a sharp front fascia with a new LED headlamp unit, chunky fork covers, and halogen turn indicators. Moving to the side, the motorcycle gets a new fuel tank with tank shrouds, new body graphics, a split seat setup, and a single pillion grab rail finished in silver colour. The rear of the Pulsar N125 gets the signature split taillamp setup as all other Pulsar models, but the vertically stacked taillamp design is slightly tweaked.

The new Pulsar N125 is available in two variants and offers different color options. The base LED Disc variant comes with 4 colour options namely Pearl Mettalic White, Ebony Black, Cocktail Wine Red, and Caribbean Blue. The top-spec variant offers Bluetooth connectivity and comes with 3 dual-tone colour options namely Ebony Black with Cocktail Wine Red, Pewter Grey with Citrus Rush, and Ebony Black with Purple Fury.

On the features front, it gets a big monochrome LCD instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity for call and SMS alerts, a USB charging port, an LED headlamp and taillamp, an integrated starter generator, and a Combined Braking System, among other features.

Bajaj Pulsar N125 - Engine & Hardware

The new Pulsar rides on 17-inch wheels with 80/100 section tyre at the front and 110/80 & 100/90 section tyre at the rear. It gets telescopic front forks and, a rear mono shock absorber with preload adjustment. Braking duty is handled by a 240mm front disc brake and a 130 mm rear drum brake, aided by a combined braking system (CBS).

It is powered by a 124.58cc air-cooled engine producing 12 PS of power and 11 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The brand has not revealed the official mileage figures but it is expected to give a mileage of 55-60 kmpl. It has a fuel tank capacity of 9.5 liters.

Verdict

The new Bajaj Pulsar N125 is the latest entrant in the 125cc segment and it boasts a modern and sporty styling which will appeal the younger audience. The motorcycle will compete with the likes of Hero Xtreme 125R, TVS Raider 125 and other 125cc motorcycles. The brand has kept the pricing competitive which will help them in getting more customers.
