Bajaj Auto, India's fourth-largest two-wheeler manufacturer, is gearing up to launch the Pulsar N125 on 17th October. This commuter bike will be the third 125cc bike in the Pulsar lineup, after the NS 125 and the regular 125. From a design POV, it will feature the same body as the bigger N150, along with several other of its characteristics. Let's explore what we can expect from the motorcycle that Bajaj is building to compete with segment king TVS Raider 125 below. Engine Of The Upcoming N125?
Bajaj will most likely add the same 125cc engine used in the regular Pulsar 125, with minor tweaks to match it to the 'N' badge. This DTS-i engine produces 11.8 PS and 10.8 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. We can expect slightly more power in the upcoming bike.
Features
For sure, the Pulsar N125 will feature LED headlamps, as I have noticed in the test mule photos. It will also include a digital Console with Bluetooth connectivity and single-channel ABS. Additionally, it will come with split seats, monoshock suspension, and a USB socket.
Bike Category And Expected Price
Bajaj is positioning this bike in the urban category, catering to young riders who want an affordable commuter bike with a bit of sporty flavor. As they already have two bikes in the lineup with a 125cc engine, this bike aims to provide an altogether different experience. Rivals will be TVS Raider 125, Hero Xtreme 125R, and Honda SP 125.
Competition is tough, as the TVS Raider has won everyone's heart and has been selling like hotcakes for quite some time now. That said, the Xtreme 125R is an automotive expert's favorite and proves to be an outstanding product. Talking about the price, the Pulsar N125 will cost somewhere around Rs 90,000 to 1,00,000.

Verdict
The name Pulsar represents the aspiration of young riders who love athletic performance along with everyday usability. This upcoming N125 promises to carry forward this legacy and fulfill the dream of those who want to buy a new-age Pulsar for under Rs 1 lakh, as the regular 125 still comes with a body that has been on sale for over 20 years now. Let's see whether Bajaj does something different and exceeds our expectations.
