It seems like Bajaj Auto is planning to bring a new 125cc Pulsar to the Indian market. A test mule of the Bajaj Pulsar N125 has been spotted on test for the first time. Upcoming Bajaj Pulsar N125
The newly spotted test mule was covered in heavy camouflage but revealed some design details of the upcoming motorcycle. It boasts a similar aggressive design language as the Bajaj Pulsar N150. The front gets a sharp LED headlamp, telescopic front forks, rear mono-shock absorber, front disc brake, and rear drum brake.
The handlebar on the test unit seems slightly raised compared to the current N150. It might get the same LCD instrument cluster as its bigger siblings. The brand might not give the Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation option in the N125 to keep the pricing low.
The launch of the N125 will be a step to expand the Pulsar 125 lineup which currently offers the Pulsar 125 and NS125. The N125 is expected to get the same 124.45cc engine as the NS125. This engine produces 11.8 bhp of power and 11 Nm of peak torque.
The N125 is expected to be priced at Rs 1 to 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom) and it will compete with the TVS Raider 125 & the newly launched Hero Xtreme 125R.
Verdict
Bajaj Pulsar 125cc lineup is long due for an update, the launch of the N125 will widen the Bajaj's 125cc offerings in the Indian market. The N150 & N160 are well received by the customers. due to its sharp and sporty design, the same design language in the 125cc segment is expected to get more customers.
