Mercedes Benz S Class
Mercedes Benz S Class (W223) the current and seventh generation 386 units have been recalled in India because of the ECU software, which is not updated and can become a reason for rise in exhaust temperature that will lead to damage to engine wiring harness, catalytic converter. To make it simple, the software of the ECU is not meeting the current specifications of the S-Class.
To add to that, S-Class Maybach models produced between April 29, 2021, and January 27, 2024, have been affected. This includes 386 units, along with one regular S-Class.
The regular S-Class is offered in two variants: S350d and S450 4MATIC, while the Maybach version also comes in two variants: the S580, powered by a twin-turbo V8, and the S680, featuring a V12. Both Maybach models are AWD and offer private jet-like luxury.

Verdict
