Volvo Car India has announced a price hike of Rs 1 lakh to Rs 3 lakh for some of its cars available in India. The Swedish luxury carmaker cites the reason for rising input costs in the industry and thus the steep price hike of cars available in their partoflio.

One good thing that the company claims is that those who booked their cars at Volvo dealerships till April 12, 2022, will be offered price protection. These new prices of their cars come from immediate effect. The table below lists the current prices of all Volvo cars available in the country -

Mr. Jyoti Malhotra, Managing Director, Volvo Car India said, The last few months have seen disruption of global supply chains leading to an increase in inputs and logistics costs. This has adversely impacted Volvo Car India as it has the entire Indian automobile industry. This unprecedented cost increase has compelled us to increase the ex-showroom prices of all our product offerings.
