With the 2020 update, the Fourth-gen Honda City now gets a BS6 compliant engine. The diesel engine powered variants of the car have been discontinued while there are other small changes in the car which gives it a fresh appeal and makes the whole package a lot more mature than before. In all, the Honda City remains of the best looking and elegant cars in the segment.

Engine, Gearbox, and Performance
The 2020 Fourth-gen Honda City BS6 is powered by a 1.5-L i-VTEC engine that churns out 119 PS of peak power while the maximum power output stands at 145 Nm. The engine comes mated to a 5-Speed MT and a CVT gearbox. The 1.5-i-VTEC engine is extremely smooth and refined. Talking about the performance, 4th-gen City is one of the best performers in the segment. the ARAI claimed mileage for the manual variant is rated at 17.4 kmpl while the CVT variant delivers 18 kmpl.
Exterior Looks and Design
Talking about the exterior design, the 4th-gen City is one of the most elegant and visually appealing cars in the segment. There are sharp cuts and creases in addition to other elements that make it look considerably aggressive. The side profile looks impressive and the characteristic shoulder line does grab a lot of attention. The rear profile remains largely similar to the overall character of the car and gives this car a great look.

Interiors and Features
The 4th-gen Honda City gets a well-built and a spacious cabin which features a dual-tone colour scheme. The quality of the plastics used is top-notch which makes it a premium and a luxurious place to be in. The seats, both at the front and at the rear are supportive and comfortable while the cushioning too is spot on. The car gets all modern features such as keyless go, touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control and more in addition to fell-good factors such as the availability of a sunroof.
