This month, Mahindra Thar is offered with discounts of up to Rs 1 lakh. The offer is only good for the MY 2022 model. There are various categories for the discounts. Those who are interested in buying the Thar 4WD can now get an accessory pack worth Rs 60,000 or receive a cash discount of up to Rs 45,000. In addition, the company is providing a corporate and exchange incentive of Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 15,000, respectively. The brand is including a three-year maintenance plan and other insurance advantages to sweeten the deal. TheMY2022 Thar LX AT 4WD model is eligible for the promotion.
The 2.0-liter petrol and 2.2-liter diesel engines are paired with a 6-speed manual and AT gearbox in the Thar 4WD. The 2.0-liter petrol engine delivers 150 bhp of power and a max torque of 300 Nm (MT) or 320 Nm (AT). The diesel engine, on the other hand, generates 300 Nm of maximum torque and 130 bhp of power.

Verdict: Although the Mahindra Thar has a lengthy waiting period for both the RWD and 4WD variant, this new discount offer will help the brand attract more customers toward the 4WD variant.
