Breaking news: the Tata Curvv, Curvv EV, and Nexon have received a perfect 5-star rating for adult and child occupant protection from B NCAP. This is significant, as Tata now has a total of six vehicles that have earned 5-star safety ratings from Bharat NCAP. Tata Curvv ICE
Unveiled on September 2, the Tata Curvv, an SUV coupe, has been found completely safe for all passengers. Out of 32.00 points, this SUV scored 29.50 in the Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) category. Additionally, it received a score of 43.66 out of 49.00 points for Child Occupant Protection (COP).
Starting from Rs 9.99 lakh ex-showroom, the top variant costs Rs 18.99 lakh. It is available with three engines: a 1.2L turbo petrol Revotron, a 1.2L turbo petrol Hyperion, and a 1.5L Kryojet diesel. Talking about some of the safety features, this vehicle includes:

- 360-degree camera
- Front and rear parking sensors

Tata Curvv EV
The ev counterpart of Curvv has outperformed the ICE model as for Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) 30.81 / 32.00 is its score. For Child Occupant Protection (COP), even better 44.83/ 49.00. So, the electrification of the Curvv has set a new standard for saftey. Kudos to Tata Motors.
This vehicle starts at Rs 17.49 lakh and the top trim Empowered + A costs Rs 21.99 lakh. Available with two battery packs, 45 kWh and 55 kWh and several premium features. Additionally, the 45 kWh battery pack range is 430 km as per MIDC Part 1 + Part 2 test, and the 55 kWh range is 502 km.
Level 2 ADAS, 6 Airbags standard, 10.25 inch infotainment screen, powered tail gate, panaromic sunroof and V2L are some of its features highlight.
Tata Nexon
This is the facelift model of the Tata Nexon, which has scored a 5-star safety rating in the B NCAP. In terms of scores, it achieved 29.86 out of 32.00 for Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and 44.95 out of 49.00 for Child Occupant Protection (COP). Clearly, this is the best of the three models in terms of safety.
Available with both petrol and diesel powertrains, the Nexon starts at Rs 7.99 lakh, and after 99 variants, the top one costs Rs 15.29 lakh. This subcompact SUV is known for its ride quality, spacious cabin, and futuristic design.
