The Honda SP 125 BS6 is the new generation model of the erstwhile Shine SP 125 which dropped the Shine moniker in the BS6 era. The SP 125 was the first BS6 motorcycle from Honda in the Indian market. Hero Glamour 125 BS6, on the other hand, was launched very recently at the Hero World 2020 event which was organized at the companys Centre of Innovation and Technology (CIT) facility located in the pink city Jaipur. Looks and Design
The 2020 Hero Glamour 125 BS6 looks much like its predecessor but it gets certain subtle cosmetic updates to make it look fresher. Upfront, it gets a big halogen headlamp unit with smoked-out pilot lamps. The side profile features a new muscular tank extension with sporty graphics, five-spoke alloy wheels and the rear sports a new mud-guard with sharp-looking LED tail-lamps. The bike comes in four colour schemes Candy Red, Sports Red, Techno Blue and Tornado Grey.
The Honda SP 125 BS6 is one good looking commuter. The bike looks striking than its predecessor and it features a new angular headlamp which is a complete LED unit. It also gets sharp tank extensions with snazzy-looking dual-tone body graphics. It also gets a five-spoke unit for the alloys and features an angular rear design. The looks of the bike are subjective but undeniably it is the SP 125 which looks more youthful. It also comes in four different colour shades - Matte Axis Grey Metallic, Pearl Siren Blue, Imperial Red Metallic and Striking Green.

The 2020 Hero Glamour is powered by a new 125cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that churns out a maximum power output of 10.87 PS at 7500 RPM and 10.6 Nm of peak torque at 6000 RPM. The updated model ditches the 4-speed gearbox in favour of the new 5-speed transmission unit and it also comes with Hero's i3S or idle start-stop system to maximize fuel efficiency.
Honda SP 125 BS6 gets an all-new 124cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that churns out 11.03 PS of power at 7500 RPM and 10.9 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM. It also comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. This new engine also features HET (Honda's Eco Technology) and gets a silent start system with ACG starter motor technology.

Upfront, both the motorcycles have an option to choose between a drum or a disc unit while the rear braking duties are handled by a drum brake. For added safety, Hero Glamour is equipped with Integrated Braking System (IBS) while the SP 125 is fitted with Combined Braking System (CBS). The working of both the mechanism is completely identical and it means that when we apply the rear brake, the front brake will also be automatically engaged.

Hero Glamour 125 BS6 gets an analogue-digital console loaded with all the basic trip information and it gets a new layout which makes it more legit to read than before. The Honda SP 125 gets an all-digital instrument cluster loaded with a host of information and it even gets a gear position indicator.
