Hero MotoCorp is the largest two-wheeler manufacturer in the world. The company has a vast portfolio in India, most of which are simple commuter motorcycles targeted towars an average Indian buyer. Now, the company has just launched another new commuter motorcycle in the Indian market. The new Hero HF 100 has been just launched in India and its price starts at Rs. 49,400, Ex-showroom Delhi. The Hero HF 100 looks identical to the Hero HF Deluxe and it even shares most of its cycle parts and mechanicals with the HF Deluxe. However, there are some differences too. For instance, the newly launched Hero HF 100 is currently available in a single Black with Red colour variant only. The bike gets a black coloured body with red and silver graphics on the body panels. Also, it gets a different grab rail and rear suspension unit than the Hero HF Deluxe. Further, it even gets rugged tyres which seem to be tubless units.
The HF 100 is basically a new family member of the Hero HF series. The HF 100 is powered by a BS6 compliant 97.2cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor. This mill churns out 8.02 PS of power at 8000 RPM and 8.05 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox. The new HF 100 gets Hero's XSens programmed electronic fuel injection system too with advanced sensor technology. Just like most other Hero motorcycles, the new Hero HF 100 will deliver excellent mileage in real-world conditions.

The Hero HF 100 gets 130 mm drum brakes at both the ends. It also gets IBS or integrated braking system as an additional safety aid. The price of the new Hero HF 100 has been set at Rs. 49,400, Ex-showroom Delhi and this makes it around 1,300 rupees cheaper than the base variant of the Hero HF Deluxe.
