Hero HF Dawn, the most affordable commuter bike that was discontinued in May 2017, was recently spied testing. According to several media reports, this motorcycle is gearing up to make a comeback with a BS6-compliant 100cc engine. If this happens, the HF Dawn could become the cheapest bike in the country. Hero HF Dawn
If you've forgotten about the Hero HF Dawn, let me take you down memory lane. This bike was launched in 2003, featuring simple round headlamps and a very neat design with spoke wheels, shock absorbers, and a steel grab handle. It was equipped with a 97.2cc air-cooled engine, producing 7.91 bhp and 8.05 Nm of torque, paired with a four-speed transmission. It also came with front and rear drum brakes and halogen turn indicators.
The upcoming HF Dawn will come with several advancements, such as the i3S start/stop system, alloy wheels with tubeless tires, and a side stand indicator. Essentially, it will have the same specifications available on the Hero Splendor Plus. The X-tec variant could be added, but we'll have to wait for confirmation from Hero.
