Hero MotoCorp, the largest-selling two-wheeler manufacturer in the world, has come out with a new top-spec variant of the Pleasure automatic scooter. Dubbed Hero Pleasure Plus XTec, the new model has gone on sale at a starting price of Rs 61,900 (ex-showroom). Here are all the important details-

Hero Pleasure Plus XTec Features and Specifications
Visually, the new model is not much different from the lower trims. Akin to before, the recently launched model comes with a retro styling language along with abundance of chrome on the end-can, handle-bar, grab rail, fender and mirrors. Moreover, the new variant even gets a dual-tone seat upholstery and painted inner panels for a more premium look.
The highlight of the new model is the host of connectivity features it offers. The instrument cluster of this scooter is a semi-digital unit that can pair with your smartphone through Bluetooth and display call log data along with even providing message alerts as well as phone battery level indicator. Moreover, the scooter offers side-stand indicator and engine cut-off in case the side stand is engaged. Another highlight include a segment-first projector LED headlamp that is claimed to offer 25 per cent more intensity and and better reach along with better illumination in foggy situations.
Speaking on the launch of the Hero Pleasure Plus Xtec, Malo Le Masson, Head of Strategy and Global Product Planning, Hero MotoCorp, said The Pleasure+ 110 is a trendsetter and is quickly becoming one of the countrys most admired and popular scooter. The XTec model brings more charm with elegant elements inspired from the Platinum edition, more durability with the front metal fender, more comfort with a branded seat backrest and a boost of technology with the projector LED headlamp, Bluetooth connectivity, and Heros patented i3S technology for enhanced fuel efficiency. The Pleasure+ 110 has just become even more desirable!
Mechanically, the new model is the same as its lower variants. Powering the Hero Pleasure Plus Xtec is the same 110.9cc, single cylinder, air-cooled, OHC, 4 stroke, fuel-injected engine that powers other models in the Pleasure range. It outputs a maximum power of 8 PS at 7,000 rpm and a peak torque of 8.7 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The motor comes paired with a CVT. The scooter gets drum brakes at both ends.
