The new Honda CD 110 Dream gets a BS6-compliant 109.51cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine. This motor churns out 8.80 PS of power at 7500 RPM and 9.3 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM. It comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox and is the most powerful bike in its segment. The bike gets Hondas Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) technology that maximizes performance and fuel efficiency. It also features Hondas Eco Technology (HET) and an ACG starter motor that starts the bike without a jolt and offers a smooth riding experience. It will deliver a good real-life mileage of around 60-65 kmpl.
Bajaj Platina 110 H-Gear gets a BS6-compliant 115.45cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, DTS-i engine. This mill churns out 8.6 PS of maximum power at 7000 RPM and 9.81 Nm of peak torque at 5000 RPM. The engine comes coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox. It is the only bike in its class to get a 5-speed gearbox which comes very handy in cruising on highways and also in extracting maximum fuel-efficiency from the bike. The Platina 110 H-Gear BS6 also gets an electronic fuel-injection technology and offers a good mileage of around 60-65 kmpl.

The new Honda CD 110 Dream is a very feature-loaded motorcycle. It gets some segment-first features like a DC headlamp, new engine on/off switch, ACG starter motor and many more. Bajaj Platina also gets some good features like a semi-analogue semi-digital console with a gear-position indicator (first in segment), five-speed gearbox and many more.
The suspension duties in both the motorcycles are performed by telescopic front forks and at the rear, the CD 110 Dream gets a spring-loaded dual shock-absorber while the Platina 110 H-Gear gets nitrox gas-charged shock-absorbers. For braking duties, the Honda CD 110 Dream BS6 gets 130 mm drum brakes at both the ends while the Platina H-Gear gets a 240 mm disc at the front and a 110 mm drum unit at the rear. Both the motorcycles also get a combined braking system (CBS) for added safety.
