- Honda is all set to reveal the new Elevate SUV on 6th June
- The SUV has again been spotted alongside the Honda HR-V
- Looking at both the SUVs side by side, the Elevate looks bigger than HR-V
Honda Cars India is all set to unveil its new upcoming SUV Elevate on the 6th of June. The new SUV from the Japanese carmaker is set to rival the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, MG Astor, etc in the mid-size SUV segment. Recently, the SUV has again been spotted in Japan, and that too alongside the HR-V, another compact Honda SUV. We know that Honda Elevate will be longer than 4 meters. The Honda HR-V is also a 4-meter plus SUV. But how does Elevate compare to the HR-V? Let's take a look at the probable size difference between Elevate & HR-V.
Honda HR-V Or Elevate? Which Is Bigger?
Well, if we look at the spied images in which both the HR-V and Elevate are standing alongside, we can clearly see that the Elevate looks bigger than the HR-V. Whether be it height or width, Elevate looks significantly bigger than the HR-V. When it comes to dimensions, the HR-V's length is 4340 mm, its width is 1790 mm, and its height is 1582 mm. This means that the Elevate could likely be around 4.4m in length, around 1800 mm in width, and around 1600 mm in height. This means Honda Elevate could possibly be bigger than its main rivals like Hyundai Creta & Kia Seltos. In that case, the size will become a USP of Honda Elevate when it launches sometime in the next few months.
What To Expect From Honda Elevate?
Honda has cleared that the Elevate will only come with a single-pane sunroof. However, it is most likely to come equipped with Honda Sensing camera-based ADAS tech, Honda Connect telematics & connected car tech, and Honda's smart strong hybrid e:HEV powertrain. We already see these features in cars like Honda City & City Hybrid.

Verdict: The upcoming Honda Elevate is expected to set a new benchmark in the midsize SUV segment by introducing two unique technologies in a single package. These technologies are ADAS and a strong hybrid powertrain. And if its size is actually bigger than its rivals, that would be another winning score by Honda in this highly competitive segment.
