Honda Elevate Variants
Recently, Honda received approval certificates from the authorities for the variants of the Elevate. The forthcoming Elevate model will offer customers the choice of both MT (manual transmission) and CVT (continuously variable transmission) options. The MT variant lineup will include four trims: V, SV, VX, and ZX, all featuring a 6-speed manual transmission.
On the other side, the CVT transmission variant lineup will include four trims, namely V, VX, ZX, and ZX DT. These trims will be available with a CVT automatic transmission option as well.
Speaking of the engine specifications, the Elevate will offer a sole 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. This particular engine, derived from the City Sedan, will generate 119 bhp of power and a peak torque of 145 Nm. It will come paired with both a 6-speed manual gearbox and a CVT gearbox.

Honda Elevate Features
Regarding its features, the Elevate is generously equipped with a wide range of offerings. The vehicle boasts a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, and USB connectivity. Inside, the interior showcases a leather-wrapped steering wheel, wireless charging, steering-mounted controls, foldable second-row seats (with a 60:40 split), and 12V power outlets for both front and rear passengers. In terms of safety, the Elevate will offer up to six airbags, seat belt reminders for all five seats, ABS with EBD, and Honda Sensing ADAS features, among other safety enhancements.
Verdict
The Elevate will come with a decent array of features, but some potential customers might be deterred by the absence of a diesel and turbo petrol engine option. There were expectations of a hybrid powertrain offering with the Elevate; however, it will only be available with the 1.5-litre NA engine. Despite this, the Elevate will still be in competition with other mid-size SUVs like the KIA Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, and more.
