Honda Two-wheelers India has recently teased its upcoming motorcycle that is all set to launch on September 30, 2020. This new upcoming Honda motorcycle will be a Premium offering and it will be sold via the company's BigWing Dealerships. Now, while the company has hinted only the exhaust note of this upcoming motorcycle, we have come to know what this Honda will be exactly called! The Honda H'Ness name has been trademarked by the company and it seems the new cruiser will be called the H'Ness.
Now, let me tell you why this new upcoming motorcycle might be called the Honda H'Ness and not Highness. That's because the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India has opposed the use of term Highness in February this year. However, later another application for the term H'Ness was applied and it was successfully accepted. So, the new upcoming cruiser motorcycle might be called H'Ness. However, we are still not a hundred per cent sure about its name as Honda is known for patenting several names and international products in India, but they are hardly launched here.

Now, talking about this upcoming cruiser motorcycle, so Honda's Premium Dealership Network BigWing has been teasing this motorcycle every day on their social media platforms. But, except for the soothing exhaust note, the teaser video hardly tells us anything. The company is absolutely tight-lipped about this upcoming sub-500cc premium motorcycle. Honda's launch teaser quotes 'An Unforgettabe Roar, Your Highness is Arriving on 30th September 2020.' The audio clip reveals that it is a single-cylinder motorcycle and how it sounds while starting up, at idle and while accelerating through the gears.
As we all know, this Japanese two-wheeler company has been working for a really long time on a motorcycle to take on the likes of the Royal Enfield and this seems just that. It will not only rival the Royal Enfield Motorcycles but also the Jawa Motorcycles and the Benellis. Being a Honda, the cruiser will get premium bits like a semi-digital instrument cluster, all-LED lights, etc. The powertrain of the motorcycle isn't confirmed yet but we believe it will get a 300cc engine with nearly 30 PS of power and around 27 Nm of peak torque. The motorcycle will come mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The new upcoming Honda motorcycle was initially expected to be known as the Rebel 300 in the Indian market. But, now as the Honda H'Ness name has been trademarked, we believe its official name will be the same. The Honda H'ness will be launched in India on September 30, 2020. We expect it to be priced in the ballpark of Rs. 3 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi and it will be sold via Honda's Premium BigWing Dealerships. What are your thoughts on this upcoming Honda motorcycle?
