Honda Stylo 160 Scooter: Design, Features, Price
Not long ago, Honda patented the design of four big motorcycles in India. Continuing this series, the Stylo 160 scooter design patent has now been filed. While a patent doesn't necessarily hint at a launch; the possibility of a 160cc scooter can not be denied. The current portfolio of Honda two-wheelers is dominated by top-selling scooters like Activa. Rivals are planning to launch maxi scooters like the Hero Xoom 160 soon in India. Hence, the Stylo 160 makes good sense for Honda.
The Stylo 160 is already on sale in Indonesia and the response is positive. It looks good for a family scooter. Additionally, features like LED lights, a comfortable seat, a digital console, disc brakes, and a USB charger; make it appealing to every age group buyers. It is looked upon as a very family-friendly scooter in the Indonesian market.
Powering the Stylo 160 is a 156.9cc liquid-cooled engine which makes a peak power of 16 bhp and 15 Nm of peak torque. While it is not as fast as the Yamaha Aerox 155, it isn't slow as well. With enough power available on tap, its CVT gearbox offers a good combo of performance and efficiency. For the safety of the users, it also has a single-channel ABS. However, budget-oriented buyers can opt for a CBS version without the ABS. If Honda has plans to launch the Stylo 160 in India, it'll be priced around Rs 1.25 lakh (estimated).

It is an unsaid norm of manufacturers to silently patent designs and names globally. The main reason behind it is to reserve that model and details for the brand and future launch plans.
