Hyundai recently launched the 2023 facelifted i10 in India. The hatchback now gets a BS6 phase-2 & RDE-compliant engine along with many new comfort, convenience, & safety features. Now, the Korean automaker has unveiled the 2023 i10 facelift for global markets. The i10 facelift for global markets comes with ADAS tech which the Indian facelift misses on. This shows that Hyundai is working towards equipping its mass-market cars with the latest ADAS technologies. This means, sometime in the future, Hyundai might introduce ADAS features in its small & mass-market cars in India like Grand i10 Nios and i20.
Although Hyundai has equipped the 2023 Indian facelift of i10 with many first-in-segment and best-in-segment safety features, the ADAS tech is something that is currently only available in premium and costly Hyundai cars in India like Tucson and Ioniq 5. However, the upcoming next-gen Hyundai Verna 2023 and Hyundai Creta 2023 will bring ADAS tech to the mass market segment in India. Thus there stands a possibility of seeing ADAS tech in future facelifts of small Hyundai cars like the Grand i10 Nios & i20 in India.
2023 Hyundai i10 Facelift For Global Markets: What It Gets Over Indian Facelift
The 2023 Hyundai i10 facelift for global markets gets some cosmetic and design changes that differentiate it from the Indian facelift variant. The global facelift variant of the i10 gets honeycomb-styled DRLs whereas the Indian facelift variant gets tri-arrow-styled DRLs. The taillamp design of the global facelift variant of the i10 is also different from the Indian facelift variant. Also, the Indian facelift variant of the i10 gets a reflective strip connecting both taillamps. This is missing in the global facelift variant of the i10. The Indian i10 facelift also misses on front fog lamps which the global facelift gets. Apart from all this, in the interior, the global facelift of the i10 gets features like a new 4.2-inch digital MID display, wireless Apple Car Play/Android Auto, and Hyundai Smart Sense ADAS tech, all of which are missing in the Indian facelift of the i10.

Verdict: With the availability of ADAS, the 2023 Hyundai i10 facelift for global markets is a much more advanced car than the Indian facelift variant of the i10. However, if Hyundai can offer the ADAS tech in its upcoming next-gen Verna and Creta facelift, we can hope that the Korean automaker will eventually bring this tech to its mass-market small cars in India like the i10 & i20.
