Hyundai India is testing the i20 across the length and width of India. However, in the overseas markets, the i20 has started reaching dealerships and Hyundai has also revealed the much-awated i20 N-Line. To make the Hyundai i20 N-line more sporty, Hyundai has added some sporty elements like blacked-out grille, 17-inch alloy wheels, side skirts, metal pedals, front sports seats and much more. Talking about the exteriors, the cascading grille is blacked-out and sports the chequered-flag design. the bumpers are all new and get the grey-sourrounds to give it sportier look. Moving to the side, we get 17-inch dual tone alloy wheels and sporty side skirts. The rear profile of the new i20 N-line has the connected LED taillight and the bumper gets dual-tip exhaust.
The interiors of the Hyundai i20 N-line gets an all-black treatment with some sporty inserts. The front two seats are sporty and gets higher bolstering. We also gets N steering wheel and N logo on the seats with red stitching. Other N elements include metal pedals and N leather gearnob. Hyundai has given the connected AC vents look to the dashboard whereas a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment sits atop the dashboard. The digital driver's display is highly customisable but the Indian-i20 will get the different unit.
Moving to the heart of the matter, we have two engine options on offer - 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.0-litre turbo petrol. The 1.2-litre NA engine produces 83 PS of power whereas the 1.0-litre turbo is offered with 100 PS or 120 PS tune. The turbo petrol engine is further also offered with 48-volt mild hybrid and intelligent manual transmission (iMT). In India, we will also get to see the 1.5-litre diesel engine plonked in the i20.
