Hyundai India Introduces New Safety Features Across All Products

Hyundai India has updated its whole range of products with new safety features. The new safety enhancements come without any price hikes.

Catering to the increased concern about safety from potential customers; Hyundai India has updated its complete range. The range of products from Hyundai now gets additional safety features. New Safety Features - What's Different Now?

Speaking of these new features, the three-pointer seatbelt has now become standard across the range. In fact, the seatbelt reminder along with it has also been added. This feature will be available in every model & variant now. Additionally, four airbags have now become standard across lower models like Grand i10 NIOS, Aura, & i20. However, models above Verna like Tucson will now get at least 6 airbags are standard from now on. Meanwhile, Venue, i20, & i20 N Line now gets standard ESC, VSM, & Hill-Hold Assist. Hyundai has also given hints that it'll introduce ADAS in models below Verna. This can possibly mean that the upcoming Venue facelift shall get ADAS. Alongside these new features, the prices of all models remain unchanged.

Speaking over this new update, Tarun Garg, Chief Operating Officer of Hyundai Motor India said, Customer safety is our utmost priority and we have been the forerunners in standardization of safety features. At Hyundai, we are committed to consistently elevating the safety standards of our product line-up, and thus, in sync with Indian Governments direction, we have upgraded our full range model line-up with 3-point seatbelt and seatbelt reminders for all seats as standard offerings. We firmly believe that Safety feature standardization will offer superior protection for our customers.

Verdict

This new step towards safety by Hyundai is a big welcome. In the past, there have been raising concerns regarding the safety of Hyundai cars. Hence, to eliminate those rumors and to make road travel safer for its customers; Hyundai has introduced these features. In the coming future, we expect that more enhanced safety features shall make on the upcoming Hyundai cars in India.
