Hyundai Venue becomes the top-efficient petrol compact SUV in automatic version after Maruti Brezza. The BS6 Venue gets a drop of 0.22 km/l for the manual and 6-speed manual return 0.17 km/l from the BS4 model. Also, the automatic, 7-speed DCT BS6 model gets a drop of 0.15 km/l from BS4 model.
Maruti Brezza delivers 17.03 km/l for the manual making it the second most fuel-efficient petrol compact SUV. The same delivers 18.76 km/l for automatic as it comes with the smart hybrid technology which Maruti also calls as SHVS. Ford Ecosport makes the least 15.9 km/l while Tata Nexon delivers 17.4 km/l for manual and 16 km/l for the AMT. Mahindra XUV300 delivers 17 km/l.

In terms of features, the BS6 base and mid-spec models (E and S) of Hyundai Venue now comes with AMS (Alternator Management System) which helps in reducing the load on the engine and increase battery life. The SX trim now comes with Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) while SX+ (automatic) and SX(O) gets an additional 12-V power outlet.
