The purpose of the recall is to check affected vehicles' Airbag Controllers and repair them, if necessary, without charge. In rare instances, it is possible that the damaged part may have a flaw that prevents the airbags and seat belt pretensioners from deploying in the event of a collision. Customers of the suspected automobiles are advised out of extreme care not to drive or operate the vehicle until the affected part is replaced.
Owners of impacted vehicles will be contacted by Maruti Suzuki-approved establishments for prompt attention. Customers can check if their car needs maintenance on Maruti Suzuki's website. The problematic part will be replaced at no cost under the voluntary recall, and the brand will compensate for all inspection costs. The closest dealerships will get in touch with consumers if their car needs any maintenance.

This is the third recall the company has issued in the past four months. In October, the brand recalled 9,000 Wagon R, Ignis, and Celerio vehicles due to a problem with the rear brake assembly. The company recalled about 9,125 Ciaz, Brezza, Ertiga, XL6 and Grand Vitara vehicles in December. One of the minor sections of the front row seat belts' shoulder height adjuster system may have had a malfunction, which in a very rare circumstance could have necessitated seat belt disassembly.
Verdict: Although the recall will make it simpler for customers to restore their vehicles, these issues could deter other potential buyers. Although many manufacturers are issuing recalls due to these problems that are becoming more prevalent with new cars, this discourages potential purchasers.
