Jeep Compass Trailhawk recently completed a journey to The Great Indian Desert in one go and became the first SUV to embark on this 1280 km trip. The mission was to check the capability of the Jeep Compass Trailhawk and complete the journey without touching the tarmac.
Abhimanyu Alsisar, the Prince of Alsisar undertook this 72-hour journey that saw treacherous paths and temperatures ranging from 40 degrees Celsius during the day to freezing temperatures at night. The Compass Trailhawk demonstrated its off-road capabilities and reliability to endure long and difficult journeys.
Jeep Compass Trailhawk took this journey from Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan to Kutch, Gujarat. It travelled through cities likeAlissar, Bikaner, Dhani, Army dunes, Small Rann, Kala Dungar, Virgin Dunes, Barner, Jaisalmer and Rann of Kutch. The SUV also crossed through unidentified routes with undulating sand hills and more to check its capability.

Powering the Compass Trailhawk is a 2.0-litre, FCA sourced, four-cylinder, BS6 compliant turbocharged diesel engine. This motor churns out 168 bhp of power on tap with a peak torque of 350 Nm.
