Meridian SUV Price Hike On Selected Models
Jeep recently removed the entry-level limited MT variant from the Meridian SUV lineup without much fanfare. The starting model for the SUV is now the Limited (O) trim, with a price adjustment from Rs 32.95 lakh to Rs 33.40 lakh (ex-showroom). Jeep Meridian: Powertrain and Rivals
The Jeep Meridian comes with a robust 2.0-litre MultiJet II diesel engine, delivering 168 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. It offers a six-speed manual or a nine-speed automatic transmission for the 4x2 model and a nine-speed automatic gearbox for the 4x4 version. The SUV boasts a top speed of 198 kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in only 10.8 seconds. Currently, there's no petrol engine option available for the Meridian.
In the competitive market, the Jeep Meridian faces rivals such as the Skoda Kodiaq, Toyota Fortuner, and MG Gloster.
