The Kia Carens will be offered in 5 trims Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury and Luxury Plus
Kia India has revealed the trim details and specifications of the Kia Carens ahead of its expected launch later this month. Bookings for the new model will commence on January 14, 2022 and the new MPV will be sold in 5 trims- Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury and Luxury Plus.

Kia Carens Safety Features & Other Equipment
All the trims will come equipped with a 10 Hi-safety package as standard. This safety pack will include Electronic Stability Control, Vehicle Stability Management, Hill Assist, Dynamic Brake Control, ABS, Brake Assist, Disc Brakes on all wheels, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System and Rear Parking Sensors. Furthermore, the new model will be sold with a handful of segment-leading features like a 10.25 HD Touchscreen Infotainment unit, Kia Connect, BOSE Sound System with 8 speakers, Air Purifier with Virus and Bacteria protection, Ventilated front seats and 2nd Row Seat One Touch Easy Electric Tumble.

The connected car suite that the Kia Carens will come with will include 66 connected features categorised under Navigation, Remote Control, Vehicle Management, Safety & Security and Convenience. Out of the 66 features, 11 will be exclusive to the Kia Carens users. These include - Final Destination Guidance, Server Based Routing Guidance, Remote Seat Ventilation Control, Pro-Active Vehicle Status Alert, etc. In addition to Over the Air map updates, the Kia Carens customers will also get Over the Air (OTA) system updates, removing the hassle of any physical visit to Kia facility just for software upgrades.
Kia Carens Specifications
The Kia Carens will be sold in three engine options - 1.5 Petrol, 1.4 T-GDi Petrol and 1.5 CRDi VGT Diesel. There will be three transmission options on offer 6MT, 7DCT and 6AT. The new model will be sold in the 7-seater option in Premium to Luxury trims, while the Luxury Plus trim will be available with a choice of both 6 and 7 seater options.
