Bookings for KIA India's all-electric crossover EV6 have been reopened in India. The company has already sold a sizable number of the first batch of electric vehicles in the nation and is now prepared to import the second batch for the Indian market. In addition to opening EV6 bookings, it has also increased the number of Indian dealers. We may predict that the second batch's delivery will start soon now that reservations are available. The cost of the EV is still Rs 60.95 lakh (ex-showroom) for the GT Line RWD model and Rs 65.95 lakh (ex-showroom) for the GT Line AWD variant.

KIA EV6
The Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), created by Hyundai Motor Group, the parent company of Kia, specifically for electric vehicles, is the foundation upon which the EV6 is built. A 77.4 kWh battery pack and a choice of rear- or all-wheel drive option are included. The EV6's AWD variant generates maximum torque of 605 Nm and 321 bhp, whilst the maximum power and torque stay at 229 bhp and 350 Nm for the RWD version. The EV6 has a maximum range of 708 kilometres on a single charge.
In just 18 minutes, the EV6 can be charged from 10% to 80% with a 350kW DC fast charger. However, the charging duration varies from 18 minutes to 73 minutes while using the 50kW fast charger.
The EV6 has a number of features, including LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, two screens (one for the touchscreen and the other for the instrument cluster), dual-zone climate control, 64-color ambient lighting, and several drive modes. It also has a number of cutting-edge safety features and an advance driving assistance systems, like automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and lane keeping assistance.

Verdict: The market has accepted the KIA EV6 as a successful product, and the company has been able to sell a sizable number of cars. The Volvo XC40 Recharge and the Hyundai Ioniq 5 are rivals of the EV6. Also, among all the EVs in India, the EV6 has one of the longest ranges.
