KIA India is all set to add new variants to its top-selling SUV Seltos lineup. The brand has added a new CVT and an AT variant in the lineup which will make the KIA Seltos automatic variants more affordable for customers. The Seltos is now available in HTK+ Petrol CVT and HTK+ Diesel AT variants. Read details of the pricing of the new variants below. KIA Seltos New Variants & Pricing
The Seltos is one of the top-selling SUVs for KIA in India, it comes with an appealing design, a plethora of features, and several engine and transmission options. The brand has now added new variants to make the automatic transmission more accessible and affordable. The newly added HTK+ Petrol CVT variant is priced at Rs 15.40 lakh (ex-showroom), and the HTK+ Diesel AT variant is priced at Rs 16.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

Previously, the Petrol CVT & the Diesel AT was available in the HTX variant onwards. Now, the addition of the HTK+ variant with both transmission options undercuts the price of HTX by Rs 1.20 lakh for the CVT and Rs 1.30 lakh for the AT unit. The new addition will help the brand to garner more customers for the SUV.

KIA Carens Gets New Transmission Option
The brand is also preparing to launch the KIA Carens in a diesel manual version. Currently, the diesel variant is available with an iMT unit only. The KIA Carens Diesel Manual will be available from the Premium variant onwards. You can read more details of the new addition here.
Verdict
KIA Seltos is a tough rival in the mid-size SUV segment and the more affordable automatic transmission options will make it more competitive in its segment. The new automatic transmission options will give the customers a choice to get automatic gearbox under a budget and they don't need to go for the HTX variant in order to get a CVT or a Diesel AT transmission.
