One of the most successful entrants in the Indian market is the Seltos and it gives close competition to Hyundai Creta in sales. It comes with a variety of powertrain options and new reports suggest that the Seltos will come with an iMT gearbox too.
The iMT unit will be paired to the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine of the Seltos. This engine pumps out 113 bhp with 144 Nm of peak torque and the 6-speed iMT will surely be a convenient factor to the people driving in the city. Also, for those who are not looking for an affordable automatic and not spending much money as the CVT demands, the iMT is a preferred choice.
Kia is also set to bring an updated version of the Seltos by April end. The SUV has been in the market for almost two years now and the South Korean carmaker is thinking to spice up some things. We could expect an updated Kia logo in the Seltos, additional features to rival the Creta and well, the iMT is confirmed as well for the 1.5L petrol.

This updated version is based on the Gravity edition of the Seltos which comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, tweaked front grille, larger skid plates, door garnish, silver finish on the ORVMs and several other highlights which makes the Seltos stand out from the crowd.
Kia Seltos is offered in a more powerful 1.4L turbo petrol engine also which generates 140 PS of power with 242 Nm of peak torque. The good part is that this engine comes with a 6-speed stick shift and an optional 7-speed DCT gearbox.
For diesel lovers, the humble 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged unit produces as much as 113 bhp with 250 Nm of peak torque. A 6-speed manual and an optional 6-speed torque converter are observed in this one for convenience.
Kia Seltos offers a plethora of features like wireless charging, touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, air purifier, an electric sunroof, 7.0-inch multi-information display, UVO connected car technology, heads-up display, electrically adjustable driver's seat and more.

The prices of Kia Seltos starts from Rs 9.90 lakh and the top model fetches Rs 17.66 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. It competes with Renault Duster, Nissan Kicks, Hyundai Creta, Tata Harrier and MG Hector.
