Best in-segment Standout

Renault Kiger offers the highest fuel economy of 20kmpl for the petrol in its segment, 405-litres of boot space, 5.02metres of turning radius, 205 mm of ground clearance, best in segment dashboard visibility from the rear seat and among others.

Features
This is one of the talked things when people buy SUVs in the Indian market now and the upcoming Renault Kiger has got you covered. It gets a larger 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also gets ambient lighting, automatic climate control, Auditorium 3D Sound system by Arkamys, hands-free smart access card, backlit steering wheel controls, PM2.5 Air clean filter and among others.
Engine Options
Upon launch, Renault will bring in two engine options - a 1.0L turbo petrol and a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol. The powerful turbo generates 100 PS of power with a peak torque of 160 Nm and is available with a 5-speed manual as well as an optional CVT unit. Renault claims that the ARAI certified fuel economy sticks to 20 kmpl.
The naturally aspirated 1.0-litre petrol which gets the ENERGY tag churns out 72 PS with 96 Nm of peak torque. It gets a 5-speed stick shift and an optional AMT gearbox.
Drive Modes

You do get a 17.78 cm TFT cluster which changes its colour whenever you are using different drive modes. The Kiger is available in three driving modes - Normal, Eco and Sports. The normal mode can be used in the city to maintain a balance between performance as well as fuel efficiency. When you select this, the TFT colour changes to blue.

For the Eco mode, the TFT colour changes to green and provides an animatic green leaf and showcases real-time feedback to maximise economy driving. The Sport mode is the one where you extract all the performance and the TFT colour changes to red and displays information like acceleration input, torque, power ratios to the driver.
Exterior Design
At the front, you see split headlight design which looks better than the competition, gets flared wheel arches, larger grille with embedded chrome elements and SUV coupe silhouette which looks unique. The sloping roofline adjusts with the blacked-out C-Pillar.
At the rear, you get C-shaped LED taillights, faux brushed aluminium skid plate which adds to the sportiness and the colour options available on the Renault Kiger are - Ice Cool White, Planet Grey, Moonlight Grey, Mahogany Brown, Caspian Blue and Radiant Red with Mystery Black Roof. All trim-levels include a two-tone option.
