1. Spacious Cabin And Practicality

One of the main highlights of Kia Syros is nothing but the sheer practicality and the space on offer inside the cabin. Although it stands at 3995 mm in length, the rear seat comfort and space surpass that of the Kia Seltos. As for the wheelbase, it is shorter by 60mm than the Seltos, whereas longer than the Sonet by 50 mm. Not just this, it is taller and wider than both the Sonet and Seltos. The looks and the tall boy stance are very subjective to your liking, but for me, it is the least exciting part of the Syros, which is okay, as the brand already conveyed that it is the insides that they are focusing more on.
2. No Dearth Of Features

The Kia Syros's interior is distinguished by its expansive 30" Trinity Panoramic Display, functioning as a comprehensive digital interface for navigation and infotainment. Premium comfort is further enhanced by a dedicated 5-inch climate control display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a Harman Kardon 8-speaker sound system, segment-first rear-seat comfort features, including rear seat ventilation and a flexible 60:40 split rear seat configuration with sliding and reclining capabilities. A dual-pane panoramic sunroof contributes to an open and spacious cabin ambiance, coupled with the expansive glass area. So, if you are in for a premium experience and love to pamper yourself, the Syros delivers.
3. Sweet Spot Of Pricing

The pricing of the Kia Syros starts at Rs. 9 lakhs ex-showroom, which is higher than the Sonet, but lower than that of the Seltos, and in all practicality, the Syros delivers another level of in-cabin experience, unmatched by both its stablemates. So, for those who are looking for a more comfortable and roomier experience with a budget under 10 lakhs, the Syros will provide you that access point and that too, pretty nicely.

4. Diverse Powertrain Options
The Kia Syros provides two powertrain choices: a Smartstream 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine that generates 120PS and 172Nm of torque, and a 1.5-liter CRDi diesel engine that churns out 116PS and 250Nm of torque. Both engines offer manual and automatic transmission options, with the petrol variant featuring Kia's inaugural Smartstream G1.0 turbo GDI paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Verdict
Kia Syros comes in at a very intersting crossroads of Sonet and Seltos all the while dwarfing both in terms of the cabin feel and comfort. Yes, it does get a beating when it comes to looks, but the sales number has revealed that buyers are now readfy to look beyond the superficial and put their money in the things that matter more to them.
