Kia is all set to launch their upcoming electric vehicle, EV6 in India on June 2 and the bookings for the same have already commenced. Brought in India via the CBU route and limited to just 100 units, we expect the prices of the EV6 to be north of Rs 50 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
Globally, Kia EV6 is powered by two battery packs - 58 kWh and a bigger 77.4 kWh. For the Indian market, Kia will be bringing the crossover with the latter battery pack and that too will be available in two tunes. The rear-wheel-drive setup belts out 229 PS of power with 350 Nm of peak torque and the all-wheel-drive version makes 325 PS of power with a peak torque of 605 Nm.
The official driving range of the 77.4kWh battery pack is 528 km which makes it a good option even for long-distance journeys. This battery pack can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes from a 350kW DC fast charger. The EV6 can do a 0-100kmph sprint in just 3.5 seconds.

Feature-wise, all-LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, power-folding ORVMs, twin 12.3-inch screens (one for infotainment and other for instrument cluster), wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, connected car tech with over 60 plus features and more.
Safety equipment on the EV6 includes eight airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill-start assist control, multi-collision brake assist, vehicle stability management, front and rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat mounts, ADAS and more.
The EV6 will be made available in five colour options and those are -
