Fresh from launching their new Carens MPV, Kia has discontinued the base spec Premium 8-seater and the mid-spec Prestige 9-seater of their premium Carnival.
The Kia Carnival is available in four trim levels: Premium, Prestige, Limousine, and Limousine Plus. All trims are available with seating configurations of up to 9 people, but recently, the manufacturers have updated the variant list of their premium MPV. Kia has discontinued the base-spec Premium 8-seater configuration and the mid-spec Prestige 9-seater variant. It has also reduced the production numbers of the Premium 7-seater and the Prestige 6-seater variant. The exact reason behind this move is unknown, however, we feel that it was made possible due to their less demand.

Aside from these, the MPV also packs in LED headlights, LED Position lamps, LED fog lamps, and LED taillights. Theres a panorama electric sunroof as well, along with an electric tailgate. The door also gets a switch option, where you dont need to pull the door manually for the second row.
Some of the safety features of the Kia Carnival include hill-assist, electronic stability control, cornering brake control, front parking sensors, roll-over mitigation, curtain side airbags.
The luxurious MPV is powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine that produces 200 Ps and 440 Nm of torque, and it comes mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

Earlier this year, Kia had started quite the adventurous sales campaign called the Satisfaction Guarantee Scheme. As per this scheme, private buyers of the Carnival will be able to return the premium MPV if they were not satisfied with the purchase. Kia stated that it would refund 95% of the total cost of the vehicle to the said customer in the first 30 days of its purchase. This scheme was valid on all variants of the Carnival, and the cars should not have crossed the 1500 kms on the odometer.
