Lexus India has launched its flagship SUV, the Lexus LX500d, at Rs 3 crore (ex-showroom). The new Lexus 500d is available in two iterations, Urban and the Overtrail. The Urban grade is priced at Rs 3 crore, and the Overtrail is priced at Rs 3.12 crore (ex-showroom). The brand has opened the bookings of both the variants, and the customers can book the SUV online or by visiting the nearest Lexus Centre. Read the details of the new Lexus 500d below. Lexus LX 500d
The new Lexus LX 500d Overtrail comes with an imposing exterior design. It comes with an LED headlamp with 3 projector bi-beam lights, cornering lamps, sleek LED DRLs, an imposing signature Lexus grille, big air dams, and bumper-placed fog lamps. The Overtrail edition comes with an exclusive colour theme for the exterior and the interior. The exterior gets a Moon Desert colour for the exterior along with a black radiator grille and matte grey aluminum wheels. Components like fog lamp covers, roof rails, door moldings, wheel arch moldings, door handles, and outer mirrors are matched in black and dark tones.
The Urban grade, on the other hand, gets Sonic Quartz, Sonic Titanium, and Graphite Black exterior colour options. The interior of the Urban grade offers Hazel and Crimson shades with traditional Japanese Takumi craft. Ornamentation options for the interior include Artwood Takanoha and Walnut Open Pore.
On the features front, the 500d offers a 10-way adjustable driver seat, an 8-way adjustable passenger seat, front and rear ventilated and heated seats, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment, 8-inch MID, 7-inch drive dynamics control display, 4-zone climate control, 5 drive modes, 25 speakers Mark Levinson 3D sound system, rear seat entertainment with 11.6-inch displays, among other features.
The Lexus 500d comes with a 3.3-litre, 6-cylinder diesel engine producing 304 bhp of power and 700 Nm of peak torque. Mated with a 10-speed AT gearbox, this SUV comes with 4 Wheel Active Height Control & Adaptive Variable Suspension.
