The year 2023 has just begun and like every other manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra has also hiked the prices of its vehicles. This time it is their latest SUV, the Scorpio N which has been put under the price hike belt. Launched in June 2022, this is the first price hike for the Big Daddy of SUVs. After the increment, the overall price of the four-wheeler has gone up in the range of Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 1.01 lakh and it will now set you back from Rs. 12.74 lakh to Rs. 24.05 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra Scorpio N Price Hike: Variant-wise Price Increment
As mentioned earlier, the price hike varies depending on the variant and powertrain options. The Z8 diesel MT 4WD gets the highest price hike of Rs. 1.01 lakh, while the top-spec Z8L AT petrol, as well as diesel, are among the least gainer with a minimal price increase of Rs. 15,000.

Verdict: A price hike at the start of 2023 was quite obvious. The Scorpio N is a hot-selling product for Mahindra and commands a very long waiting period. The customers who got their vehicle booked within the first 25,000 slot will continue to enjoy the benefits of price protection, while the others should be prepared for further price increments.
