Maruti Alto K10 Recalled
Maruti Suzuki has recalled the Maruti Alto K10 units affecting 2,555 vehicles pan India. However, the brand has still not mentioned the specific manufacturing dates for the recalled units. Authorized Maruti dealerships will proactively reach out to the owners of the affected cars to arrange for their inspection and rectification.
The recall is being issued due to a potential defect in the steering gearbox assembly, which could, in rare instances, impact the vehicle's steering and handling. Maruti recommends that owners of the affected units avoid driving their cars until the issue is resolved. Customers can also take their vehicles to the nearest Maruti Suzuki service center for inspection. If a fault is detected, the steering gearbox will be replaced at no cost to the owner.
In terms of features, the Maruti Alto K10 comes with amenities such as a 7-inch touchscreen, a semi-digital instrument cluster, steering-mounted controls, front power windows, and keyless entry. Engine And Specs
The Maruti Alto K10 offers two engine options: a 1-litre petrol engine and a bi-fuel 1-litre petrol+CNG option. The petrol engine produces 67 PS of power and 89 Nm of torque and is available with either a 5-speed manual transmission (MT) or a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). In the CNG mode, the performance figure drops down to 57 PS of power and 82 Nm of torque and comes exclusively with a 5-speed manual transmission.
