Maruti Suzuki has launched the Ignis in an all-new avatar which it calls the Ignis Radiance Edition. The newly launched Radiance is available with all the trims of the hatchback. Majorly, the new Radiance Edition is an accessorised version of the Ignis. The new edition comes with a starting price tag of Rs. 5.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Ignis Radiance Edition: What's New?
As mentioned above, the Radiance Edition of the hatchback is limited to some cosmetic upgrades. The Radiance pack includes accessories like door visors, chrome garnish on various areas and wheel covers. Surprisingly, despite offering extra accessories, the Ignis Radiance Edition costs around Rs. 35000 less than the price of the base Sigma variant of the hatchback.
Maruti Ignis Features
The Maruti Suzuki Ignis hatchback offers features such as an adjustable steering wheel, height-adjustable driver seat, ISOFIX mounts, automatic climate control and auto ORVMs. Additionally, you get features like a 7-inch Smartplay Studio Infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The Ignis gets safety features like ESP, hill-hold assist and dual airbags.
Maruti Suzuki Ignis Engine
The Maruti Suzuki Ignis sources its power from a 1.2-litre petrol engine which comes paired with a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox. This powerhouse churns out a maximum power output of 82 bhp and 113 Nm of torque. Overall, the engine refinement on the Ignis is good and the car feels highly manoeuvrable in the city traffic situations.
