Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has launched the limited-run Dream Edition of Alto K10, Celerio, and S Presso in June. These editions were launched to boost the sale of the brand's small-segment cars. Previously, the brand announced the sale of this limited-run edition till the end of June. Still, according to reports the new edition has contributed to a sales increase, and hence the brand has extended the sale of the Dream Edition till the end of July 2024. Maruti Suzuki Dream Edition Sale Extended
Maruti Suzuki's limited-run Dream Edition sales have now been extended until the end of July. This came after getting over 21,000 cumulative bookings for all three cars, the brand experienced a 17 percent increase in bookings for these variants in June.
The Dream Edition has made all three cars more feature-rich and affordable for buyers. The brand has priced the cars at Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The pricing of the cars has been strategically set to make the RTO costs low. Also, the brand has added more features in the mid variants to make all three cars more feature-rich.
The Dream Edition is available in Alto K10 VXI+, Celerio LXI, and S Presso VXI+ variants. With the Dream series, all these variants come with a reverse parking camera which is not available in regular variants. The Alto VXI+ also gets a central locking system. The Celerio LXI Dream Edition variant also gets Pioneer multimedia stereo, a reverse parking camera, and a pair of speakers.
The S Presso VXI+ Dream Edition variant additionally gets cosmetic updates to make it more appealing. It comes with black wheel arc cladding, silver ornament interior styling kit, front, rear, and side skid plate, body side molding, front grille chrome garnish, back door garnish, number plate frame, central locking, and a pair of speakers.

Maruti Suzuki Dream Edition Engine Specifications
The Alto K10, Celerio, and S Presso come with a 998cc, 3-cylinder petrol engine. This engine produces 66 bhp of power and 89 Nm of peak torque and comes mated with a 5-speed manual transmission for the Dream Edition variants. The regular variants also come with the option of an AMT gearbox.
Verdict
The new Dream Edition of the Maruti cars will help the customers to get better features at an affordable price point. The small hatchback has seen a decline in sales over the past few years. With the launch of special editions, the brands like Maruti Suzuki are trying to attract more customers to this segment again.
