Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG In Works?
It seems like Maruti Suzuki is also working on the CNG variant of the Brezza. A Brezza model with a company-installed CNG kit was recently sighted at a dealer stockyard. The same 1.5-liter petrol engine that powers the Ertiga & XL6 CNG is anticipated to power the future Brezza CNG. In CNG mode, this engine generates 121.5 Nm of torque and 87 bhp of power. It has a maximum output of 136 Nm and 99 bhp of power in petrol mode. The 5-speed manual transmission will be available with this engine.
The CNG variants should be offered in VXI and ZXI trims. The price of the CNG version will be between Rs. 30,000 and Rs. 50,000 more expensive than comparable petrol versions. The Brezza CNG SUV has reportedly begun to arrive in dealer stores and dealerships, however the brand has not yet provided any information about it.
Verdict
The brand has improved the Brezza's appeal to potential customers by adding new features. The soon-to-be-released CNG version will be a good substitute for the diesel engine. Potential Brezza customers will have access to a more economical fuel choice with the CNG.
