Maruti Suzuki is getting ready to introduce the Fronx, a new crossover. At the 2023 Auto Expo, The Fronx was on display for the company. Bookings for the car started right after it was revealed at the Auto Expo. The Fronx has garnered around 15,000 bookings. The company previously released the engine information. The brand now has disclosed the fuel efficiency ratings of the Fronx as the debut date approaches near. The brand has already begun delivering the cars to dealers.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx Fuel Economy
There are two engine choices for the Maruti Fronx. With the Fronx, Maruti's 1-liter Boosterjet turbo petrol engine will make a comeback. This engine will have a power output of 100 bhp and a maximum torque output of 148 Nm. A 6-speed automatic transmission and a 5-speed manual transmission will be paired with the engine. Fuel efficiency for the 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine is 21.5 km/l with a manual transmission and 20.01 km/l with an automated transmission.
The 1.2-litre NA petrol engine, which has a maximum output of 89 bhp and 113 Nm of torque, is another engine option for the Fronx. A 5-speed manual and automatic transmission will be connected to this engine. Its engine's efficiency with a manual transmission is 21.79 km/l, while its efficiency with an automatic is 22.89 km/l.
The Maruti Suzuki Fronx has a number of features that are designed to improve the comfort, convenience, and safety of the passengers. To enhance the entire driving experience, it includes technologies like LED lighting, a Heads-Up Display, a 360-degree camera, and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It also comes with wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto for easy access to phone services like music, navigation, and texting. The Fronx also appears to prioritise safety with features like up to six airbags, electronic stability programme (ESP), ABS with EBD, hill hold assist, and all five ELR three-point seat belts, among others.

Verdict: The Maruti Fronx successfully blends the characteristics of an SUV and a hatchback. The Fronx prices are anticipated to range from Rs. 8 lakh to Rs. 12 lakh (ex-showroom). It will largely compete other SUVs in the same price range as the Tata Punch, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, and others.
