Maruti Suzuki Fronx
With a prominent mesh grille up front that dominates the design and is complemented by a wide chrome strip running the length of it, the Fronx appears to have a striking and modern aesthetic. The grille is surrounded on either side by LED DRLs, giving the front fascia a more premium appearance. The tri-beam headlamp assembly is held in place on the lower half of the bumper by a hexagonal bracket, which adds to the SUV's stylish appearance.
The Fronx has a strong side appearance due to its squared-off wheel arches and diamond-cut alloy wheels, and the crossover's slightly sloped roofline connects to a roof spoiler for added aerodynamics. Modern LED taillamps, a wide boot, and a big bumper with a skid plate on the rear profile highlight the vehicle's rear profile. The Fronx's powerful front fascia and aerodynamic lines give the impression that it strikes a balance between toughness and modernity.

It comes with features like LED lighting, a Heads-Up Display, a 360-degree camera, and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system to improve the entire driving experience. For simple access to phone services like music, navigation, and messaging, it also gets wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto. The inclusion of the ARKAMYS premium surround sound system is probably going to give the passengers a high-quality audio experience.
With safety equipment like up to six airbags, electronic stability programme (ESP), ABS with EBD, hill hold assist, and all five ELR three-point seat belts, among others, the Fronx also seems to prioritise safety.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx - Engine
With the Fronx, Maruti Suzuki has brought back its 1.0-liter booster jet turbo petrol engine. The Fronx has two alternative engine choices: a 1.0-liter booster jet engine and a 1.2-liter NA smart hybrid petrol engine. Whereas the 1.2-liter NA engine produces 89 bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque, the 1.0-liter booster jet engine produces 100 bhp and 148 Nm of peak power. The turbo-petrol engine is available with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission, as opposed to the NA petrol engine's 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT transmission.

Verdict: The Maruti Fronx strikes the ideal balance between an SUV and a hatchback. In the brand's lineup, the crossover will be positioned between the Brezza and the Baleno. The Fronx is expected to cost between Rs. 8 lakh and Rs. 12 lakh (ex-showroom). This will provide customers with additional options and allow the company to compete in the sub-4-meter Vehicle market.
