MBP T1002V ADV Details
Not a while ago, the MBP M502N India launch schedule was revealed. The brand committed to launching its first product at the Indian Auto Expo'23. MBP will be brought to India by Adishwar Auto Ride. This company already handles the Benelli & Keeway brands in India. Hence, MBP will already have good support in terms of showrooms and service centers.
Speaking of the T1002V, it is a proper ADV bike with hardcore off-roading intentions. The design is futuristic as well as rugged. Front design includes the bug-eye LED headlights, high-set beak, long telescopic suspension, 19-inch spoke wheel, & AT tyres. Meanwhile, its side profile looks bulky with the 21-lt fuel tank and the large underbelly protection. At the rear, the bike hosts split seats with a long die-cast aluminum top box luggage holder. Riders can easily tie up luggage and side boxes around its rugged setup. The rear profile includes a 17-inch spoke rim with a block-pattern tyre. A monoshock suspension with an upright-set exhaust end can also make it look butch.
MBP has powered its ADV with a 997cc, V-twin engine. This engine makes a peak power of 95 bhp & 102 Nm of peak torque. MBP also offers a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper-assist clutch for seamless gearshifts. Additionally, multiple ride modes are offered that can be switched between on the go via a toggle button. Its light 235 kg of kerb weight also makes it a decent handling machine off-road.
Verdict
MBP will soon enter India with the naked sports middle-weight bike. However, the potential launch of the T1002V can not be denied either. Why? Because the ADV market of bikes in India has grown multiple folds for a few years now. Hence, the T1002V makes sense. Additionally, it can also prove as a good rival to the well-established Triumph Tiger 900 & BMW F 850 GS in India. For now, no comments can be made sure about its pricing.
