1. Dimensions, Weight, And More

Looking at both the Honda Activa e: and the QC1 models, you will find small differences and one might skip over those in hurry, like the LED DRL at the handlebar on the Activa e and the silver accents below the seat. But there are some real-world differences that are evident more on paper.
Activa e | QC1 | |
Width | 700 mm | 701 mm |
Length | 1854 mm | 1826 mm |
Height | 1125 mm | 1129 mm |
Ground Clearance | 171 mm | 169 mm |
Wheelbase | 1310 mm | 1275 mm |
Kerb Weight | 118 kg | 89.5 kg |
Confirming the deviations, the Honda Activa e: is longer, and gets more wheelbase and ground clearance. On the flipside, the QC1 has a lower ride height and is also lighter at just 89.5 kgs. This is also attributed to the fact that the QC1 gets a single battery, whereas the Activa gets a dual-battery set-up, adding to the weight disparity. More on this just in the next point.
2. The Way They Charge And How Far They Go!

The Honda Activa e: is still available in select cities and cannot be rolled out pan India because of the way it recharges. The Activa e takes the swappable battery route via the official swapping stations, where the users need to replace the empty power shells for the recharged units. This means that it comes with no charger, and you cannot charge it at home. On the flipside, the QC1 comes with a regular charger that can be used to charge it at home, increasing its adaptability in the initial phases. While the recharge will be quicker on the Honda Activa, it will take some time to be readily available across India. Also, the Activa comes with two 1.5 kWh battery packs promising a range of 102 km on a single charge while the QC1 contends with just one of 1.5 kWh with a range of 80 kms.
3. Different Spectrums In Price
Price | Honda Activa e | Honda QC1 |
Standard | Rs 1.17 lakh | Rs 90,000 |
Road Sync | Rs 1.52 lakh |
The Activa e: operates at the higher end of the spectrum with two variants to choose from. Whereas the QC1 comes in a single variant with pricing set at Rs. 90,000 ex-showroom. Getting more comes at a price and that stays true here as well.

4. Features And Hardware Disparities

Both the Honda Activa e and the Honda QC1 feature LED lighting and telescopic front suspension with a rear monoshock. However, they diverge in other specifications. The Activa e is equipped with a front disc brake, keyless ignition, alloy wheels, a TFT display with connectivity, three ride modes, and a reverse function. In contrast, the QC1 utilizes drum brakes on both wheels, an LCD instrument cluster, two ride modes, lacks a reverse mode, offers 26 liters of under-seat storage, and is available in five color choices
Verdict
Entry of Honda in the electric scooter space was a long time coming and while it is new to it, the brand name has eased out a lot of the heavy lifting already. While QC1 is already available aross a dense area, the Activa electric is catching up pretty fast. But now, you know how to identify them when you see it!
