MG Motor India has unveiled the new Gloster Storm series with new Snowstorm and Desertstorm editions. The new Storm series gets cosmetic updates and joins the Gloster Blackstorm edition in the Gloster lineup. The price of the MG Gloster Storm Series starts at Rs 41.05 lakh (ex-showroom). MG Gloster Snowstorm Edition
The newly launched Gloster Snowstorm edition comes with a dual-tone Pearl White colour with Black highlights on the exterior. Black and red highlights on different body parts further enhance the exterior. The side mirrors are painted black colour and have a red accent, the door handles are blacked out, and the alloy wheels are blacked out and get the same design as the Blackstorm variant. The front grille and rear spoiler get black treatment while the front and rear bumper get a touch of red and the tail light gets a smoked effect. Moving to the interior, the interior theme is all black with white stitching.
MG Gloster Desertstorm Edition
Another new addition to the lineup is the new Desertstorm Edition. The new edition boasts a new Deep Golden exterior colour. The exterior is further enhanced by black alloy wheels with red calipers, black roof rails, door handles, headlamp garnish, spoiler, and fender garnish. On the interior, the Deserstorm edition gets a black treatment and the steering wheel gets white stitching.
The brand has not made any changes to the feature list of the Gloster. It continues to come with Level-2 ADAS, multiple drive modes, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, 3-zone climate control, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment, among other features.

MG Gloster Engine Specifications
The Gloster comes with a 2.0-litre turbo and a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine. The former produces 161 PS of power and 373.5 Nm of torque, while the latter produces 215.5 PS of power and 478.5 Nm of peak torque. Both engine options are available with an 8-speed AT gearbox. The turbo diesel engine is available with a 2WD drivetrain and the twin-turbo engine comes with a 4WD drivetrain with terrain selection.
Verdict
MG Motor India is on a spree to update is model lineup with new variants. The Gloster is the flagship vehicle of the brand and it now comes in three special editions. The new Storm Edition gives a distinctive persona to the Gloster and it makes it more appealing for the customers. The Gloster primarily competes with the Toyota Fortuner in the Indian market.
