MG Motor has recently adjusted the prices for its MG Hector and Hector Plus models. This move is aimed at boosting sales for these vehicles, especially after the facelift they received in January, which helped them become the third-best-selling midsize SUVs. MG Hector: Up To Rs 1.29 Lakh Price Drop!
In August 2023, MG raised the prices of their Hector models. However, they have recently taken a different approach by reducing the prices across the board. MG Hector And Hector Plus: Powertrain
The MG Hector gives customers the option of two powerful engines: a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine delivering 141 bhp and 250 Nm of torque, and a 2.0-liter diesel engine with an impressive 168 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. Both engine variants come with a reliable 6-speed manual transmission. If you prefer an automatic transmission with a turbo-petrol engine, MG offers a CVT option.
The Hector Plus shares these engine options, maintaining the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine's performance and enhancing the 2.0-litre diesel engine's power to 178 bhp while retaining 350 Nm of torque. Just like the Hector, both engine choices in the Hector Plus include a 6-speed manual transmission.
