MG Motor India has expanded the variant options for its highly popular SUV, the Hector, by introducing two new models. The brand has unveiled the Shine Pro and Select Pro variants of the SUV, priced at Rs 15.99 lakh and Rs 17.29 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. MG Hector Shine Pro & Select Pro Variants
The newly introduced variants come packed with a range of features. Exterior enhancements include LED Projector Headlamps, Floating Light Turn Indicators, LED Blade Connected Tail Lamps, and Chrome Outside Door Handles for the Hector. Furthermore, the Select Pro model boasts 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, while the Shine Pro variant comes with 17-inch silver alloy wheels. The Shine Pro variants come in a 5-seater configuration while the Select Pro is available in the Hector Plus as well.
Both the new Shine Pro and Select Pro variants feature a 14-inch HD portrait infotainment system, equipped with Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto functionality, as well as a Wireless Phone Charger. Sporting a premium all-black theme interior with luxurious upholstery and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, both Shine Pro and Select Pro variants (excluding CVT 5-seater) also boast a brushed metal finish. Additionally, these variants come equipped with a Full Digital Cluster featuring a 7-inch Embedded LCD Screen.
In terms of comfort and convenience, both the Shine Pro and Select Pro models feature a Push Button Engine Start/Stop system paired with a Smart Key. Additionally, these new variants introduce innovative features such as the first-in-segment Digital Bluetooth Key and Key Sharing capability.

MG Hector Shine Pro & Select Pro Variants Safety
The latest versions of the Hector also include important convenience and safety features like Cruise Control, Electric Parking Brake, Four-wheel disc brakes, ESP, Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Hold Control, ABS with EBD, Brake Assist, Seatbelt Reminder for all seats, Follow Me Home Headlamps, Cornering Front Fog Lamps, Front & Rear Defogger, Speed Sensing Auto Door Lock, ISOFIX Child Seat Anchors, and High-Speed Warning Alert.
MG Hector Shine Pro & Select Pro Engine Options
The MG Hector Shine Pro and Select Pro variants are offered with both engine options: the 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine and the 2.0-liter diesel engine. The turbo petrol engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT transmission, while the diesel engine is exclusively available with a 6-speed manual transmission.

The MG Hector stands out as one of the most feature-rich SUVs in the Indian market priced under Rs 20 lakh. The introduction of the new variants enhances its value proposition even further. Offering both variants with both engine options will broaden its appeal to a wider range of customers.
