MG M9
The second model from MG, which will be sold alongside the Cyberster at the new more-premium MG Select showrooms, is the new M9, which was also introduced in India for the first time at the Auto Expo 2025. The new MG M9 is a fully electric, three-row, luxury MPV, a rebadged version of the Maxus Mifa 9 from SAIC, MGs parent brand.
The MG M9 will be offered in India with a 180kW motor generating 245 bhp and 350 Nm and a 90kWh battery pack delivering 430 km range. Pre-bookings of the MG M9 have also commenced on MG Indias official website.
MG Majestor
On the second day of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, MG unveiled the new Majestor a restyled and more premium version of the MG Gloster. To be sold alongside the Gloster SUV, the new MG Majestor SUV gets a bolder-looking front fascia with new all-LED headlamps and grille and a reworked tail section with new LED tail lamps and connected LED light bars.
The new MG Majestor will likely get an all-new cabin with a few more features over the Gloster but is likely to retain its 2.0-litre bi-turbo diesel engine with 8-speed automatic transmission. Expect MG to launch the new Majestor in the second half of 2025.
MG HS PHEV
MG also displayed the HS PHEV compact plug-in hybrid SUV that is sold in other global markets. This premium compact crossover SUV has a powertrain combination of a 1.5-litre petrol engine (141 bhp and 230 Nm) and an electric motor (181 bhp and 350 Nm). In the combined mode, this powertrain setup claims 268 bhp and 350 Nm. The 21.4kWh battery pack, which is also a part of this powertrain, delivers an EV-only range of 100 km.
MG ZS HEV
A few months ago, a few images of the MG ZS HEV from India were leaked on the internet, igniting rumours of its launch in India. And now, MG has officially displayed the new ZS HEV at the Auto Expo 2025 to gauge public response.
Essentially a facelifted form of the MG Astor sold in India with a tweaked design, the MG ZS HEV is a hybrid compact SUV that gets a combination of a 1.5-litre petrol engine (100 bhp and 128 Nm) and an electric motor (134 bhp and 250 Nm). In the combined mode, this powertrain delivers 194 bhp and 465 Nm. A 1.83kWh battery is also a part of this powertrain for assisting the electric motor.
MG IM5
The MG IM5 is a renamed version of the IM L6, an all-electric four-door sedan from the Chinese carmaker IM Motors. It is unlikely to come to India and was showcased by MG purely for display purposes. This Chinese electric sedan is globally available in four versions 75kW RWD (216 bhp, 450 Nm and 650km range), 83kWh RWD (248 bhp, 500 Nm and 710 km range), 100kWh RWD (300 bhp, 500 Nm and 850 km range) and 100kWh AWD (579 bhp, 800 Nm and 780 km range).
MG IM6
The MG IM6 is a coupe-SUV version of the IM5 sedan showcased alongside it at the Auto Expo 2025 and is essentially a renamed version of the IM LS6 from China-based IM Motors. The MG IM6 is also available in the same four versions in which the IM5 sedan is available overseas but has a slightly raised stance and a mildly-tweaked design featuring a coupe-like roofline.
Like the IM5 sedan, the MG IM6 all-electric SUV also has all-LED lighting, a yoke steering wheel a 26.3-inch panoramic screen cockpit and a 10.5-inch portrait screen in the centre console. The MG IM6 will also not come to India and was here only as a display model.

This sports sedan from MG comes with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and produces 257 bhp and 405 Nm. Given MGs focus on SUVs and electric vehicles for the Indian car market, the MG 7 Trophy Edition is unlikely to come to India.
MG S5
The MG S5 is a renamed version of the MG ES5 sold in the Chinese car market and is roughly the size of the MG ZS EV sold in India. This compact all-electric SUV is powered by a front-mounted electric motor that generates 174 bhp and 280 Nm.
