Occupied by BMW, the Mini Cooper brand has been known for its distinct and fun-to-drive offerings in the market. Breaking their legacy of gasoline engines, the first-ever Mini Cooper electric India launch has been all set for February 24, 2022.
The all-new Cooper SE will become the first electric vehicle from the Mini brand to focus completely on the electric powertrain. Mini has already opened the bookings for the Cooper SE back in October 2021; the first lot of 30 cars were immediately booked over then.
Mini Cooper SE Design
The all-electric luxury sports hatchback from Mini i.e. Cooper SE is designed on the same platform as that of its ICE-powered siblings. Featuring the iconic jelly-bean-shaped design, the front of the SE features the round all-LED projector headlights, a differently designed grille to give the EV Mini a distinctive look from the regular petrol and diesel Mini's.
Mini Cooper SE also uses a newly designed set of 17-inch alloy wheels which shall only be restricted to the EV model, hence, helping the SE to remain distinct from the side profile as well.
At the rear Mini, Cooper SE features a similar design as that of the other siblings. It features the famous LED taillights which have been inspired by the British flag. No distinctive changes are seen on the rear of this electric Mini Cooper.
Mini will make the Cooper SE available in 4 different color shades i.e. White Silver, Midnight Black, Moonwalk Grey, and British Racing Green.
